Depuis six ans Joane Hétu dirige l’ensemble Castor et compagnie qui se consacre exclusivement à la chanson et nous présente un deuxième album intitulé «Mets ta langue».

Chansons cochonnes, chansons d’amour, chansons françaises, chansons intelligentes, chansons touchantes, chansons tumultueuses, chansons vivifiantes, chansons improvisées, chansons «pas cool», chansons à chanter… Un répertoire qui témoigne de son roc, de son miel, de sa morsure, de sa langue, de sa sueur, de son bruit, de son cri, de sa poésie.

Un tutti de voix qui célèbre l’amour, l’érotisme et la vie.

For the last six years, Joane Hétu, formerly of Justine and countless other Montréal-based groups, has been directing the Castor et compagnie ensemble, a group devoted to exploring vocal musical forms. They are now offering us their second album titled “Mets ta langue.” (litterally, “Put your tongue”)

What to expect: erotic songs, love songs, french songs, spoken songs, uncool, intelligent, touching songs, tumultuous and lively; improvisations to sing along to… A warm repertoire of honeylike sound, with bite, sweat, noise and poetry.

A vocal tutti celebrating love, eroticism and life.
